A plane has gone off the runway into a shallow river in Indonesia.
A Merpati airline Boeing 737, carrying 103 passengers and six crew, has broken up and is in pieces at the end of a runway in Manokwari, West Papua.
Witnesses have said the plane bounced off the tarmac at Rendani domestic airport before hurtling into the river at the end of the runway.
The left wind was wrenched off as the aircraft came to rest.
It is believed some people were injured in the crash with some now in hospital with broken limbs and head injuries.
Bad weather has been blamed for the crash. The area was being pelted with heavy rain at the time.
