Two Missionaries Rev. Ottow and Geissler on 5 February 1855 step their feet in the land of West Papua for spreading Christianity. Both Ottow and Geissler blessed the land of West Papua namely “IN GOTTES NAMEN BETTRATEN WIR DAS LAND/ IN THE NAME OF GOD WE STEP OUR FEET ON THIS LAND. West Papua was conquered by God and did not conquered by human and nor colonized by the Netherlands.

Even before Dutch government came to West Papua, missionaries of Christianity first came to West Papua. Both Missionaries and Dutch government never and never colonized land and Papuans people but educated them with love, never and never killed, arrested and abducted Papuans people but protected them with humanity, never and never destruction and deforestation of their own land and forest. At that time, Dutch government was preparing West Papua for independence by peace in the future.
The First Papuan People’s Congress was conducted from 16 to 19 October 1961 in Hollandia Binnen the Netherlands Niew Guinea now Jayapura- Capital State of West Papua. First congress drafted, designed and ratified a national anthem “Oh My Land Papua”, a national flag “Morning Star and Currency type “Gulden Papua”. Congress did not declare independence of West Papua yet. And officially on 1st December 1961 both West Papua’s flag and the Netherlands’ flag raised together on the top of the mast by officials of Governor of Netherlands Niew Guinea Dr. Jan Piet Plateel and officials of Papuans. And historically witness by Papuans people as the milestone of West Papua in Hollandia Binnen.

1st of December 1961 was milestone of West Papua that reminded generation of Papuans people to others and give them inspire to keep their dream to come truth for independence from Indonesia one day and finally we restored our independence on 19 October 2011.

Restoration Independence Day of West Papua on 19 October 2021. Formation of the State of the Federal Republic of West Papua at the Third Papuans Peoples’ Congress on October 19, 2011 in Jayapura. This assembly was the highest forum in which our people freely engage in the political decision making regarding the future of Papua. The third Papuan Peoples’ Congress drafted and ratified a Constitution, drafted and ratified a Profile of State, drafted and ratified a structure of state and governance, drafted and ratified a Profile of the government, set the territory / or borders of State, approved a national anthem, approved a national Flag and approved of the Currency type.

Officially we made announcement of the formation of the Provisional Government of the Federal Republic of West Papua on 31 July 2018 with 19 Cabinet Ministers and State and Government Institutions, and local governments of 10 Provinces, 88 Regencies, 10 municipalities and 3 Special Areas. We are administering, running and strengthening of the Provisional Government throughout the entire land of West Papua.

 

Two political parties namely the Papua United Party and the Papuan Democratic Party were initiated and established by officials of the Provisional Government of the Federal Republic of West Papua. Two political parties can control and maintain political balance between people and government.

 

The United Mechanism of the UN Charter Chapter II article 4 no 1. Membership in the United Nations is open to all other peace loving states which accept the obligations contained in the present charter and, in the judgment of the organization are able and willing to carry out this obligations.
The Federal Republic of West Papua will guarantee all Indonesian people and Foreigners presently residing in West Papua the right to citizenship and ensure their safety and security from the time of independence and beyond.
The Federal Republic of West Papua is a peace-loving state which accept the obligations contained in the present UN Charter and we are able and willing to carry out these obligations.

Please all struggling factions have to unification with the Provisional Government of the State of the Federal Republic of West Papua. The Federal Republic of West Papua is Statehood is a threshold criteria and we invoke the United Nations to bring West Papua back to the United Nations’ agenda and the United Nations to grant us membership.
